1990 was the second year of Upper Deck sports cards. Upper Deck issued 800 card set divided into two series in 1990. Low Series are 1-700 and high numbers are 701-800. These boxes are low series numbers. There 36 packs per box and 15 cards per pack. Featured rookies from 1990 are Sammy Sosa, Juan Gonzalez, Larry Walker, Dave Justice, Ray Lankford, and Dean Palmer. There were several errors and variations in this release including the second year Ken Griffey Jr. missing copyright information on the back. This set also includes the rookie card of the "Primetime" Deion Sanders.
